This summer our Brother Joanne had a blast applying her marketing and supply chain skills at Reckitt! With time for both individual projects and team collaboration here are some of her takeaways! 🤩
“This summer I interned at Reckitt as an eCommerce Hygiene intern under their Bricks & Clicks and Performance Marketing teams! For my project, I was tasked to find whitespace opportunities within last-mile delivery channels like DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Instacart. At the end of my internship, I presented test & learn proposals that’ll be launched by the end of this year for the most profitable accounts based on our sales data on the platform and their media capabilities.
Most valuable lesson? 💡
Make meaningful and genuine connections!
I learned a lot throughout my time at Reckitt but what made this experience so amazing was the people I met. I feel like not many interns can say they had their own crew, but I was grateful to have one with the interns I met at orientation, on my team, and on the hygiene floor. We’re able to ask for the most honest feedback on our individual projects but still be able to fool around and enjoy time together after work. Through them, I was able to meet their managers who offered more perspective on my project and also led me to other people who became my mentors.
Favorite moment? ❤️
Even though it was hectic, my favorite moment was presentation day. All of my friends and I were so nervous but the adrenaline rush really carried when it was time to present. Ironically, we were scheduled back-to-back so right before someone went, we’d be hyping each other up and giving pep talks and right after they were done, we’d meet on the fifth floor to congratulate each other and debrief until all of us were done. Right after, we went to the city to celebrate!
