Pittsburg State University Irene Ransom Bradley School of Nursing https://www.pittstate.edu/nursing/ The first baccalaureate graduates completed the program in May, 1973. The RN Completion program was begun in 1974.

The Department of Nursing was established in 1970, with the first class of 35 students admitted to the clinical program in the Fall of 1971. Initial accreditation by the National League of Nursing was granted in 1975. The Master's program in Family Nursing accepted its first students in 1993.
