The Advancement Ambassadors are committed to those activities which strengthen and enhance the advancement of Pittsburg State University. They promote the University, and its interests and goals to develop meaningful communications among students, faculty, staff, employers, alumni, and friends. They represent PSU in private and public events related to the University, and identify and cultivate le

adership for future university needs, class activities, and voluntary support programs. Advancement Ambassadors work closely with PSU University Advancement.

It's always a good day to be a Gorilla…but gamedays are always a little extra special! Take a look at some of the GorillaFest activities from yesterday—we are so proud of our Advancement Ambassadors and all of the ways they are involved on gameday!

Next game, don't forget to bring your kids by our booths for the inflatables, hair paint, and stickers 🏈

Happy start to the 2026-2027 school year! It’s so great to have students back on campus again, and we are SO excited for everything to come with this new year.

This year’s Ambassadors got a strong start with orientation this week, which included some fun team building activities 🙌

We’re looking forward to everything this group is going to do and lead, and we hope you’ll follow along and participate as we work to spread gratitude for and awareness about philanthropy on the Pitt State campus. Here’s to another year—Go ‘Rillas!

Last night, we got to recognize a few of our wonderful Advancement Ambassadors and celebrate the hard work this group has put in!

Last night, a few of our Ambassadors had the chance to sit with former member Ryan Urban! It was great to hear about his time at Pitt State and gain valuable advice that we can carry into both our personal and professional lives.

As a student, Ryan was a highly-involved leader whose experience inspired him to establish The Ryan Urban Advancement Ambassador Award, which recognizes one outstanding member each year. We look forward to awarding this at the end of the semester. Thank you, Ryan!

Apple Day 2026! 🍎

What a fun day we had getting to celebrate Pitt State. Thank you to everyone who came to our soda bar, wrote Thank You's to our donors, and participated in our giveaway! It's amazing to be part of a campus that's full of so many thankful students. Wouldn't be the same without you, Gorillas! 🦍

In honor of this year's T.A.G. week, the Advancement Ambassadors will be hosting a giveaway at Wednesday's Apple Day act...

In honor of this year's T.A.G. week, the Advancement Ambassadors will be hosting a giveaway at Wednesday's Apple Day activities on the Axe Library lawn 🙌

Stop by our table to get a cup and drink from our dirty soda bar AND have a chance to enter the giveaway by saying thank you to one of Pitt's first-time donors. Students can do this by writing a "Thank you" note at the table or by saying "Thank you" in a video!

Entries for the giveaway will only be accepted in-person this way, and the winner will be announced on Thursday the 9th. The prize includes a PSU Foundation tumbler, straw topper, Thankful Gorillas t-shirt, pen, and a $50 voucher to the on-campus bookstore.

You won't want to miss this opportunity, so mark your calendars for 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday! We'll see you there 🍎 🙏
