❗❗New Faculty Alert❗❗

Dr. Jing Li is an assistant professor specializing in psychometrics, applied statistics, and research methodology. Her research focuses on developing and applying quantitative methods to enhance the validity, fairness, and interpretability of educational and psychological assessments. She uses Rasch measurement theory, explanatory item response modeling, structural equation modeling, and other applied quantitative methods to examine item functioning, subgroup differences, and the quality of measurement instruments. Her recent work also explores artificial intelligence in education, including student engagement with AI, fairness in evaluating large language models for education, comparisons between human and LLM raters, and the use of AI-generated item features to predict item difficulty. Dr. Li earned her B.A. in Psychology, her M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, and an M.S. in Statistics, and has lived in Michigan, Ohio, and Georgia along the way.

Current undergraduates interested in the Behavior Emphasis degree are welcome to attend the mixer from 2:00-3:00 PM to network with current students, alumni, and internship sites.
