On Friday there is a happy hour at Sly Fox PGH Highline Brewery & Pub and on Sunday there is a Family Fun Day at Settler's Cabin Park. Hope to see you there! On June 10 the Chapter is having a 125th Gala Celebration at the Grand Concourse. Check out their post to get more information about how to get tickets for this special event.

Join us on June 10 for our 125th Birthday Gala at The Grand Concourse in Station Square! The evening will feature a gorgeous sit down dinner, an open bar, dancing & photo booth courtesy of Pittsburgh Event Group, and a program honoring our Chapter's 125 years of Penn State Excellence in the Pittsburgh area. We may have some very special surprises in store, too!

If you are, or have ever been a member of our Chapter, or have served in any kind of leadership role at any time, we sincerely hope to see you there to celebrate the Power of the Penn State Community in Pittsburgh!

🍸June 9, 5-8pm: Get the party started with a Happy Hour at Penn State Alumni owned & operated Sly Fox PGH Highline Brewery & Pub! For a $10 donation to our FastStart Program Endowment, enjoy complementary apps, fun giveaways, and the chance to mix and mingle with your Penn State friends and family!

🎉June 10, 6-11pm: Get glammed up for a beautiful evening at The Grand Concourse in Station Square to officially celebrate our 125th birthday with a sit-down dinner, open bar, dancing, and some very special surprises! Tickets $125 per person.

🌳June 11, 11am-2pm: Wind down with an afternoon of family-friendly fun in Settlers Cabin Park! We'll provide snacks & soft drinks and Yovi's Hot Dog Truck will be on site. Enjoy lawn games, arts & crafts, and face painting and a public playground near the shelter! Admission will be free, but we'll ask for your RSVP to keep head count.

Tomorrow Career Networking Event Cancelled

Due to the projected snowy/icy travel conditions between Pittsburgh and State College tomorrow, our friends from Career Services are unfortunately unable to make the trip in for our event at Southern Tier Brewing Co. - Pittsburgh tomorrow evening. Anyone who registered will be getting an email with that update. We hope to be able to schedule a virtual session sometime after the new year, followed by an in-person event in March/April.

In the meantime, all of Career Services resources are always available to PSU Alumni at https://directory.alumni.psu.edu/s/1218/16/interior.aspx...

Check out this networking event happening on November 15 at Southern Tier Brewing Co. - Pittsburgh!

Network with your fellow Penn Staters at Southern Tier Brewing Co. - Pittsburgh on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 5:30-8:30pm! This is a great opportunity for Alumni who are new to the area or who want a refresh on their networking skills.

The evening will include a cash bar and lots of hors d'oeuvres, information about networking strategies, tips for maximizing your LinkedIn presence, and representatives from Penn State Career Services, our Greater Pittsburgh Chapter, Smeal Club Pittsburgh, and Pittsburgh's Penn State African American Alumni Organization (AAAO).

Admission is free, but please bring a cold weather clothing item to help homeless veterans in our area - sweatshirts, sweatpants, gloves, socks, scarves, hand warmers, etc.

with us at Carson City Saloon on Saturday!

Enjoy $2.50 Miller Light, $3 White Claw, and their full menu while we cheer on our Lions!
