Lets meet the next few students landing at Chatham OT ✈️
First up…Ava!!
Hailing from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Ava joins Chatham’s OTD program with two B.S. degrees in Rehabilitation Sciences and Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, along with a certificate in Psycho-Social Issues and Well-being. She currently works as a rehab aide at UPMC Shadyside and hopes to continue throughout graduate school.
Inspired by her experiences working with children and in adaptive physical education, Ava hopes to help others participate in the occupations they love, build independence, and reach their goals. She is especially interested in pediatrics and neurorehabilitation. 💜
Fun facts about Ava: She is colorblind and loves playing pickleball! 🏓🍃

Meet Jessica!! 🌸
Hailing from Knox Dale, PA, Jessica joins Chatham’s OTD program with a B.S. in Occupational Science from Penn State Mont Alto. She currently works as a COTA in a school-based setting and PRN at several skilled nursing facilities.
Her experiences have inspired her passion for helping others and growing in the field of occupational therapy. She is especially interested in pediatrics, geriatrics, and mental health. 🫶
Fun fact about Jessica: She loves hunting and even goes rattlesnake hunting! 🐍

Meet Katie!! 🌷
Hailing from Bordentown, NJ, Katie joins Chatham’s OTD program with a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She previously worked as a rehab tech in outpatient PT and was the president of Best Buddies at Pitt!
Katie has a passion for physical rehabilitation and loves that OT brings creativity into the rehab world. She is especially interested in pediatrics, geriatrics, and neurorehabilitation. 💜
Fun fact about Katie: She loves exploring new coffee shops around Pittsburgh and scrapbooking! ☕

Meet Siera!! 🌼
Hailing from Manor, PA, Siera joins Chatham’s OTD program with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Exercise Science from Chatham University. She also works as a rehabilitation aide on the inpatient rehabilitation floor at UPMC East!
Inspired by her twin brother, Nicholas, Siera found her passion
