Congratulations to our very own Corinne Reamer, recipient of the 2026 Joyce Salls Scholarship! 💜

The Joyce Salls Scholarship is awarded to a second-year student who exemplifies leadership, service, and advocacy throughout their time at Chatham. Corinne embodies these qualities in every aspect of her involvement.

During her time at Chatham, Corinne has served as the Fundraising Chair for SOTA, Secretary for COTAD, and an OT Admissions Ambassador. She has also dedicated hours to volunteering at events, supporting her peers, and mentoring both current and incoming students.

Corinne’s commitment to serving others and strengthening the OT community makes her a truly deserving recipient of this honor. Please join us in congratulating her on this well-earned achievement! 🎉💜

This past weekend, some of our students participated in the annual Out of the Darkness Walk with the University of Pittsburgh to raise awareness for mental health. Each year this walk honors loved ones and supports anyone who may be struggling. It’s a reminder that no one is alone and that hope, connection, and conversation matter.

Feature Friday: Meet Sarah 💜

This week we’re highlighting one of our first year OTD students. She is already building a strong foundation and embracing the hands on experiences that shape future occupational therapists. She’s most interested in inpatient pediatrics!

Huge milestone for our OT program! 🙌

We’ve been steadily climbing the national rankings; now sitting in the top 20% of programs across the country.

We’re also proud to be ranked #5 out of 21 OT programs in Pennsylvania!

Feature Friday: Dr. Gett 💜

Dr. Gett is passionate about supporting students through those “lightbulb moments” when everything starts to click. She loves helping future OTs build confidence in their clinical reasoning and apply what they’ve learned to real-world practice.

One piece of advice she carries with her is to always keep growing! If you feel stuck, seek out new opportunities, continue learning, and stay connected to the profession.

We’re so grateful for the knowledge, guidance, and support she brings to our program! 👩🏻‍🏫
