The third annual Transfer Pathways Summit included: an insightful student panel; a forward-thinking keynote address; a thought-provoking conversation between community college administrators; and informative breakout sessions — all in one day.

And we closed out in a special way: Renée and Richard Goldman Dean Eboni Zamani-Gallaher presented Office of the Provost Chief Enrollment Officer Marc L. Harding with the inaugural Excellence in Transfer Student Success Award, and will be awarded in his name moving forward.

The study abroad in Italy is underway, and several Pitt Education students visited the Il Papiro factory workshop, creating several paper decorations including marbleized paper, embossing a leather bookmark, and making a journal.

Students are immersed in the culture as they continue their "Language and Literature for the Young Child" and "Teaching Young English Language Learners" courses in Italy, taught by faculty members Patricia Crawford and Michelle Sobolak.
