Congratulations to (BHA ‘01) on her installation at the 61st Venice Biennale, “In Minor Keys,” curated by Koyo Kouoh.

Using a room-sized analogue camera she built herself, Schneider’s “First Living Woman” exposes an entire jumbo roll of photographic paper to create a single, continuous image. The installation loops through an 8-second segment from Chris Marker’s 1962 film “La Jetée,” transforming a fleeting cinematic moment into an immersive act of memory.
