The Red Zone is not about telling students not to go to parties.

It is not about what someone wears.

It is not about telling people not to drink.

Sexual violence is the responsibility of the person who chooses to cause harm.

Prevention means something different.

Respect boundaries.
Pay attention when something feels off.
Step in when someone may need help.
Look out for one another.

On Sept. 29, the IEX Office welcomes Admiral Rachel Levine, M.D. for You Matter: A Community Conversation on LGBTQIA+ Health Equity.

Dr. Levine will talk about health equity, discrimination, access to affirming care, and what institutions can do to build communities where people are treated with dignity.

The first weeks of the fall semester are a period when college students face an increased risk of sexual violence. New people. New relationships. New social situations.
