Student Emma Waltz shares her experiences in the Chatham's PA program, including an international clinical rotation in Ghana. We're proud of what Emma and all our students accomplish in our two-year program.

Emma Waltz had a love of travel instilled in her by her parents. So, when it came time to do her clinical rotations in Chatham University’s MPAS program, she went to Ghana.

Students are practicing their clinical procedure on manikins before performing them on classmates now -- and on actual patients starting next month.

May is a fun time in the PA program as students finish their didactic classes and prepare for clinical rotations. Last week in Clinical Procedures, they learned to scrub, gown, and glove properly in preparation for the OR.
