Office of Academic Career Development, Health Sciences The OACD provides resources and support to Pitt's Health Sciences professionals.

Founded in 2014, the Center for Doctoral and Postdoctoral Career Development expands the Office of Academic Career Development’s mission to leverage common resources campus-wide that will facilitate the professional development of doctoral and postdoctoral trainees. The Center acts as a connector to career and professional development resources and activities available throughout the University of

Pittsburgh. It further collaborates with regional partners building productive relationships. The Center facilitates communication and the sharing of best practices to enable schools and departments to augment their current activities. When beneficial, the Center develops centralized universal activities and resources to support these unit-specific activities.
