We are appalled and heartbroken by the anti-Semitic shooting attack on Chabad of Poway. We mourn our loss and pray for the injured.

On the final day of Passover, Jews in Poway and around the world gather in synagogues for the Yizkor prayer. In it, we ask G-d to remember the millions of Jews who were martyred for being Jewish. Today, another name was added to that list.

In Poway, Pittsburgh or Jerusalem, we are targeted simply for being Jewish. Those who hate us do not differentiate based on "affiliations" or other labels.

This is a time to come together and recognize what unites us. Please pray for those injured in this terrible attack and do a Mitzvah in memory of the deceased.
