Incredible collaborative work is happening in Mozambique through the Gorongosa Restoration Project (GRP)! 🐘🌍
In partnership between the Carr Foundation and the Government of Mozambique, and in alliance with Pitt Health Sciences, Gorongosa National Park is becoming a global model for integrated conservation, science, education and community development.
Last November, Pitt Emergency Medicine faculty members Thomas E. Platt and Sheldon Williams traveled nearly 30 hours to Gorongosa to teach an Emergency Medical Responder course to GRP team members—helping empower local communities with lifesaving knowledge and care.
