Weโre happy to announce a new funding opportunity for University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering faculty looking to take early-stage research from the lab toward real-world impact.
The Engineering Commercialization Launchpad, a collaboration between OIE and SSOE, will provide two awards of up to $50,000 each, along with 12 months of hands-on support in project management, IP guidance, commercialization coaching, and innovation training.
Designed for SSOE faculty who are new to technology translation and commercialization, the Launchpad provides the funding, mentorship, and practical support to explore potential applications and identify a path toward commercial use.
Applications open Oct. 1.
