Today marks the beginning of Passover. It’s also Holy Week for Western Christian traditions.
Spiritual life is an important part of wellbeing for students, faculty and staff, and the University encourages members of the community to celebrate their faith traditions, if they choose.
A variety of on- and off-campus organizations offer fellowship, celebrations and worship. Chabad and Hillel JUC, for instance, hold seders during Passover; while many Christian denominations are holding services throughout the week.

The University encourages students to request religious accommodations, if necessary, including alternative testing arrangements. Departments are encouraged not to schedule meetings during religious observances, and to offer flexible working arrangements.
Details on requesting accommodations may be found at https://wellbeing.pitt.edu
