Equestrian Club at the University of Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Equestrian Club is a registered student organization at the University of Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh Equestrian Team is a competitive sports club at the University of Pittsburgh. We ride under the instruction of Jim Boyce at BarGee Farms, located about 30 minutes north of campus. We are registered with the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA), meaning that we compete in shows against other colleges and universities in our region. With over 350 colleges and more than 7,500 rid

ers, the IHSA is the world's largest intercollegiate equestrian organization. Our riders compete in hunt seat classes ranging from beginning walk/trot to open over fences. We have members from all levels of riding; no prior horse experience is necessary. You do not have to try out to be in the club, however, your riding will be evaluated to determine which division you should be placed in.
