Another incredible LA Showcase & Expo with our West Coast Drama Alumni Community in the books!

The Class of 2026 was introduced to the best of the best in LA, including (but not limited to):

🏥 a private hands-on tour of The Pitt set with alumnus and executive producer Michael Hissrich and members of the show’s tremendous design and production team

🎥 a walk around the Warner Bros lot with alumnus and art director/designer Brian Grego

⚙️ a session with the innovative team at TAIT

📑 a panel with alumni working as directors, filmmakers, producers, and agents in LA, hosted by our friends at

🎭 our LA actors’ showcase, with performances introduced by alumni Josh Gad and Nikki Crawford

🎬 sessions for our writers, directors, dramaturgs, and actors with alumnus and executive producer/director John Wells

🤝 and SO MANY other opportunities for our students across all disciplines to meet and connect with alumni and industry professionals who are passionate about supporting the next generation.

We cannot adequately express our gratitude to our WCDAC board and the many talented and generous folks who made this week so impactful and exciting for our students. ❤️

Earlier this month we were graced with the legendary talent, humor, and generosity of alumna Megan Hilty.

She joined us for a day on campus to work with Music Theater students and talk to the whole School of Drama about the realities of working in the industry. Her advice in a nutshell: say yes and be nice. 🙌

That evening she joined Head of School Robert Ramirez on stage at the Greer Cabaret Theater for a Behind-the-Scenes conversation in partnership with the Pittsburgh .

We are forever grateful and so proud to have her in our community. 💕
