Are you ready for orientation? We can't wait to welcome you to campus!

Here's what you need to know to be prepared for your visit:
🔸Plan to arrive at UW-Platteville between 9 and 9:30 a.m. Park in lots 3, 3a, 4 and 5 for easy access to Ullsvik Hall.
🔸Make sure your student brings a government-issued photo ID. They won't be able to pick up their Campus Card without one.
🔸You and your guests should wear comfortable shoes and prepare for the weather. The day will involve traveling to multiple buildings. All buildings are accessible.

Trust us.. this is a post you are going to want to see! For all our incoming Pioneers attending Orientation this summer, please be sure to have all of the before orientation tasks completed to ensure a smooth orientation and registration experience.

Make sure your student submits their photo for their Campus Card (student ID) online BEFORE attending orientation. Have them log into eAccounts to submit their photo. More information has been sent to their UW-Platteville email.

Your student and their guests have the option to stay in Southwest Hall, one of our residence halls, the night before their Orientation Day.

New UW-Platteville students stay for free, with a charge of $25 for each additional guest. Guests can pay by check (payable to UW-Platteville Department of Residence Life) when checking in.

Please note this option is available only for UW-Platteville main campus students on June and July orientation dates. Overnight stays are not available for the August orientation date.

Registration for Placement Testing is now available! This is an important step for your student to prepare to register for classes and to help them be successful in their first semester at UW-Platteville.

Encourage your student to check their email and their To-Do List in PASS for information about how to register for and take their placement tests.

Students should have their placement tests completed at least two weeks before their advising appointment or orientation date.
