Marching Pioneers of UW-Platteville Welcome to the official page for the Marching Pioneers of UW-Platteville! Approximately every six years, the Marching Pioneers perform for a NFL game.

The Marching Pioneers perform for pre-game and halftime for all home Pioneer football games and commonly march during Homecoming and Dairy Day's parades. Marching Pioneers (or the UW-Platteville Marching Band) perform for pre-game and halftime for all home Pioneer football games. The Marching Pioneers also commonly march during Homecoming and Dairy Day's parades and make an appearance to a Platteville High School football game.

This just in! Prior to our performance at the Milwaukee Brewers game on the evening of Saturday, September 26, the Marching Pioneers will be performing a concert at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee. The time of the concert will be early afternoon. More details coming soon!!

It’s camp week! Drum majors, section leaders, drumline and color guard move in on Thursday. Woodwinds and brass move in on Friday. The 2026 season is going to be phenomenal, with five home football games, two parades, the Last Blast concert and a performance at the Milwaukee Brewers game on the evening of Saturday, September 26.
