Have you been to UW-Platteville Pioneer Farm lately? It's one of the best campus farms in the state for dairy, swine, and beef operations. Next week is your chance to visit as we are once again proud to be hosting the Lafayette County Dairy Breakfast. We last hosted the 2018 and 1986 dairy breakfasts! Come for some great food, live music, a petting zoo, tractors, fun for the kids, and much more!

When: Saturday, June 13 from 6:30 a..m. to 10:30 a.m. (rain or shine). 29200 College Farm Rd. Platteville, WI 53818

Menu: Scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, sausage links, donuts, pudding, ice cream, milk, juice, coffee.

Adults: $6.00 Kids ages 4-10: $4.00 Kids under 3: Free.

You did it Pioneers! Summer break is here. It’s time to enjoy some time off and soak up some sun! 😎

There are fun times ahead for the College of BILSA this summer! The Lafayette County Dairy Breakfast will be hosted on Pioneer Farm this June 13. We will get to greet the incoming Freshman and transfer students during New Student Experience starting in mid-June. The Alumni Golf Outing Supporting BILSA Scholarships will be held at The Oaks Golf Course on August 14. There’s so much to look forward to! 🧡💙

This semester, our Quality Management students at UW-Platteville wrapped up an incredible international consulting project with a business client, HALU Creations, in Panama through Kambia and Global Brigades. 🌎

Student teams spent the semester learning quality management tools and then applying them to real business challenges for their client. Teams analyzed processes, met directly with the client, gathered data, and developed practical zero-cost recommendations to improve operations and customer experience.

Projects focused on:
✔️ Order intake
✔️ Delivery processes
✔️ Customer feedback systems
✔️ Inventory management

Beyond the technical work, students also gained experience working across cultures, communicating with an international client, and learning how quality management applies in emerging economies.

I’m so proud of the work these teams accomplished and the professionalism they showed throughout the semester. Thank you to Kambia, Global Brigades, and our client partners for helping create such a meaningful hands-on learning experience for our students. ❤️
