We wanted to remind you of our new package system!

All mail delivered by USPS will still come directly to the Halls. All other packages will be delivered to the Glenview Commons Package Center. This does not apply to Rountree Commons students, you will still be receiving your packages directly.

Welcome/welcome back, Residence Hall Students!

As we prepare for the start of the semester, we’ve been working over the summer to improve and prepare our package pickup process. This year, we are moving the package center from the original location of Hugunin Hall to the west side of Glenview Commons. Glenview Commons is located directly next to Hugunin Hall, so the distance is very similar.

Please see the included map for the designated entrance to the package center indicated with a pink star. Do not enter any other area of Glenview Commons or drive on sidewalks to access the package center.

We anticipate that the package center will open and begin operations on Tuesday, September 1st.

Our regular hours will be:
Monday–Friday: 2:00–7:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Sunday: 5:00–7:00 p.m.

Important Information:

Use your hall address: always use your hall address and not the mailing address of the package center. This will allow for faster processing.

Platteville, WI 53818

USPS mail and packages will continue to be delivered directly to your residence hall.

Packages from other carriers, including Amazon, FedEx, UPS, SpeeDee, and others, will be delivered to the package center at Glenview Commons.

Once your package has been received and scanned into our system, you will receive an email at your UW-Platteville email address letting you know it is ready for pickup. Please do not come to the package center until you have received this email. Although the carrier may notify you that your package has been delivered, it may still be in transit from another location on campus to the main package center.
When picking up a package, enter through the west doors of Glenview Commons that face Hugunin Hall and the disc golf course field and have your student ID ready.

Package center staff will retrieve, scan, and release your package to you.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we transition to our new package center location and campus package processing service. We look forward to serving you throughout the semester!

Hey Pioneers! As we approach the fall semester students living in the residence halls will be able to buy an activity pass. With an activity pass students will be able to check out items from the front desk including cooking utensils, sporting equipment, tools, games, etc. Passes cost $8 per semester or $15 for the entire school year.

Hey Pioneers, we are offering employment opportunities to students! Residence Life student workers have the opportunity to build a professional mentor relationship with their supervisor – offering insight into the world of work, and in assisting with building the community in which they live. Check out our SharePoint page or visit Student Employment for more information.

We run a process for hiring Resident Assistants in the Fall and Spring semesters. There will be more information going out via email, social media, posters, etc. during this time.
