Happy June, Pioneers! Hope you're having a great break so far! Here are your reminders for the month:
- Southwest Hall is available for renting at $125 a week! If you are taking summer classes or have and internship/job or just looking for a place to stay in Platteville, you can stay with us at Southwest Hall!
- Want to rent a loft for next school year? Make sure to sign up to secure yours today!
- Do you want to move in early next school year? Do you want to help other students? Welcome Crew has their applications open for Fall 2026! Sign up on our SharePoint page!
- Reminder, move in will be here before you know it! New Students move in: Aug 29th, 8a.m. - 2p.m. Returning Students move in: Aug 30th & Aug 31st, 10a.m. - 2p.m.
- Make sure sign up for your New Student Experience Orientation Day! All new students and their guests are welcome to sign up for an overnight stay the night prior to their orientation, In one of our suit-style residence halls.

Hi everyone! Our final staff spotlight of the semester is...⭐Molly Schmitt!⭐From Dickeyville, WI, Molly is a 5th year environmental engineering major and 4th year ResLife staff member. She is currently a Senior Assistant, and was nominated for being great in the role and bringing guidance to her team.

Molly applied for the Senior Assistant role as a Resident Assistant because she feels passionately about working with RAs and helping them become successful in their roles. She has enjoyed working and living with people who have become good friends to her. A fun fact about Molly is that she has been to 3 other continents😮🌏! Thanks for all you have done for ResLife, and we look forward to welcoming and possibly highlighting our new student staff this fall!

This Friday (5/8) from 6-8 PM, McGregor Hall will be hosting an outdoor movie night! We will be having freshly popped popcorn, Rice Krispies, and Shirley Temples! Bring a blanket and your friends and join us on the lawn between McGregor and Wilgus!

Hello Pioneers! Happy May! Last month before summer break, finish strong!! Here are your reminders for the month:
- Southwest Hall has been designated as the Summer Hal for the summer of 2026 for $125 a week! If you are taking summer classes, have a summer internship/job, or are just looking for a place to stay in Platteville, you can stay in Southwest Hall!
- As we get closer to the end of the semester, keep an eye out for communication from your Resident Assistant. Your RA will be hosting a closing wing meeting where they will give you all of the important information to help your move out smooth.
- Do you want to move in early next school year? Do you want to help other students? Welcome Crew has their applications open for Fall 2026! Sign up on our SharePoint page!
- Summer Storage is available for McGregor, Melcher, Porter, Rountree, and Wilgus Hall. $150 flat fee to store your stuff in your room over summer. Sign up on our SharePoint page.
- Move out tip: Unplug/defrost your room fridge 2-3 days before you plan to check out with your RA! The fridge needs to be dry before you can check out of your room.
- If you currently have a loft, you must return it by May 17th. Look for signage in your hall for times, dates, and location of loft returns.
- Don't forget to return your textbooks before you leave for break!
