This semester, our Quality Management students at UW-Platteville wrapped up an incredible international consulting project with a business client, HALU Creations, in Panama through Kambia and Global Brigades. 🌎

Student teams spent the semester learning quality management tools and then applying them to real business challenges for their client. Teams analyzed processes, met directly with the client, gathered data, and developed practical zero-cost recommendations to improve operations and customer experience.

Projects focused on:
✔️ Order intake
✔️ Delivery processes
✔️ Customer feedback systems
✔️ Inventory management

Beyond the technical work, students also gained experience working across cultures, communicating with an international client, and learning how quality management applies in emerging economies.

I’m so proud of the work these teams accomplished and the professionalism they showed throughout the semester. Thank you to Kambia, Global Brigades, and our client partners for helping create such a meaningful hands-on learning experience for our students. ❤️

The NEW LaunchPoint Program is hosting a bingo night!

LaunchPoint is a new program through UW-Platteville School of Business, the Huff Family Innovation Center, and the Platteville Business Incubator.

Hosted and created by entrepreneurship and innovation minor students, this SPECIAL BINGO NIGHT will highlight the fun that comes from a minor in Entrepreneurship, innovation that comes from the Huff, and resources from the Platteville Business Incubator!

Come see us on May 5th at MPSC Pioneer Crossing at 6:00 pm for the chance to win prizes from local businesses, including businesses owned by students!

Proud day for the School of Business! 👏

Kokou Gadedji and Dan Nugent brought two teams to Madison to compete in the Commercial Lending Case Competition hosted by the Wisconsin Bankers Association and Prosight Financial Association.

Our students presented loan proposals in front of banking professionals from across the state and competed alongside teams from UW–Madison, UW–Whitewater, and UW–Parkside.

UW–Platteville students attended the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Annual Student Seminar at Lambeau Field last Saturday.

Dr. Robert Snyder moderated the panel “Reaching Audiences Where They Are,” featuring Samantha Lindner (iHeartMedia), Devin Willems (WFRV-TV Green Bay) and Kayla Dembiec (multimedia journalist and former Badger Beat Reporter, UW–Madison).

The School of Business had a fantastic time facilitating the regional Entrepreneurship and Job Interview contests on Friday! These events are a cornerstone of our commitment to workforce development, providing students with real-world experience while strengthening our ties with the next generation of business leaders.

More than 300 students from over 30 schools competed Friday at the SkillsUSA regional competition at UW-Platteville.
