University of Wisconsin-Platteville: McGregor Hall McGregor Hall is one of nine traditional halls on the University of Wisconsin-Platteville campus and We have three all male floors and one floor for females.

McGregor Hall, named after past UW-Platteville president Duncan McGregor and built in 1961, accommodates approximately 162 men and 60 women. Our typical make-up of students includes both freshmen as well as a majority of upperclassmen. You will find that McGregor Hall likes tradition. Traditional programs held in McGregor Hall this year will be the 8th annual Duncan Diner as well as the 14th annua

l Luau, which is an event co-sponsored with Wilgus Hall. We also pride ourselves in Homecoming as we are the reigning campus champions in the Homecoming Competitions!

Hey Pioneers! We have a few reminders for you as we head into November. Also check out some of the fun events we have coming up!

We want to highlight signing up to stay in the halls over upcoming breaks. All of the halls will remain open for November break, please sign up by going to our SharePoint page and completing the form.

As we near the end of the semester, we will be sending out more information regarding Winter and Winterim break housing information. Please slide through the post for some general information now and to start planning.

Same Room Sign-Up is still taking place!!

Swing by our table in the Markee at the dates listed for questions or assistance with signing up for you same room space for 2025-2026. You can also sign up by logging into your housing portal and beginning the application for same room sign-up.

McGregor residents, please note that you have until Oct. 21st at 11:59pm to ensure your same space for next year. On Oct. 22nd at 7:45am spaces in Southwest, McGregor, Wilgus 1st floor, and Morrow 4 West will open for any returning students to reserve.

🙀UWP students at McGregor Hall had a Duncan Diner 50's style hot dog stand and chose us for the proceeds! Isabelle and Kimberly brought us a nice cash donation yesterday, and the timing was purrrrfect! You might recognize these precious kittens! Sadly Elsa and Anna who were adopted out together a little while back were returned to us a couple weeks ago. After combating lingering parasites and other GI issues (so common in these littles) The new home was just not up for it all...We are happy to say they are both negative, and working through these issues and will be ready for yet another new beginning hopefully together! Thank you so much students!! 🐈🐈 🌭 💸
