I wonder who our winner's were?

The biology program is hosting a scavenger hunt this week! Students who flock to Boebel Hall from May 4–8 to spot their hidden duck, Greg Waddlesworth, PhD, and snap a picture of the little guy every day will win a free biology T-shirt! Full details can be found on the Biology Instagram page (). Good luck finding the duck! 🦆

Dr. Wayne Weber will carry the University Mace at the College of BILSA's commencement ceremony!

Dr. Weber has enjoyed numerous positions while working at UW-Platteville for the past 28 years. His increasing leadership roles span from faculty member in the Department of Biology, Chair of the Department of Biology, Dean of the College of BILSA, Interim Provost, to his current position as the university’s Corporate and Community Engagement Consultant. We wish him the absolute best as he transitions to his new role as the Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs at the University of Wisconsin System.

🎉 Fun fact about Dr. Weber: He just became a grandpa! 🍼

It’s nearly time to celebrate the Fall 2025 BILSA degree candidates at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville's 215th commencement ceremony! Join us this Saturday, December 13, 12:30–2 PM at Williams Fieldhouse.
