University of Wisconsin-Platteville: Southwest Hall This page is no longer active and will not be responding to messages. The entire building is air conditioned and each suite is fully furnished.

Please visit our department accounts via the links below for updated information, events, and more! Southwest Hall, completed in 2006, is home to 380 students who will live in 95 four-person suites. Each suite has four single bedrooms, a living room, a dining area with kitchenette, and two bathrooms. There is high speed internet access in every bedroom and elevator access to all floor levels. Each

of the six floors has a study room with a computer that can be used for group projects. Other public areas include the main desk, mailroom, lobby, multipurpose room, laundry room, and community room with vending area. Southwest Hall remains open during the official academic year breaks.

Swing by our table in the Markee at the dates listed for questions or assistance with signing up for you same room space for 2025-2026. You can also sign up by logging into your housing portal and beginning the application for same room sign-up.
Southwest, McGregor, and Wilgus 1st floor, please note that you have until Oct. 21st at 11:59pm to ensure your same space for next year. On Oct. 22nd at 7:45am spaces in Southwest, McGregor, Wilgus 1st floor, and Morrow 4 West will open for any returning students to reserve.
