Our chapter holds meetings once a month to meet and discuss topics related to our field of study. Current IIE memb

ers present on their experiences in recent co-op/internship positions. Occasionally we will host a guest speaker from the industry who will offer some insight as to the roles of industrial engineers at their facility. Industrial Engineering is a discipline of Engineering that finds ways to eliminate waste and increase production and quality in an industrial setting by devising more efficient ways to use machines, materials and information while effectively utilizing workers.
