Lambda Theta Alpha’s Zeta Kappa Chapter was founded by 12 dedicated ladies at SUNY Plattsburgh on April 12, 2015. Lambda Theta Alpha was established to develop strong leaders that produce and engage in political, social, and cultural activities. Although Lambda Theta Alpha is Latina by tradition, the Sorority is inclusive to all women regardless of race, color, creed, sexual identity, gender expre

ssion, or religious beliefs. With the principles of Unity, Love and Respect, Zeta Kappa will carry on the mission of Lambda Theta Alpha to continuously aid in the empowerment of the universal woman, cultural and political awareness, community activism and scholarly excellence. Our chapter philanthropy, The Trevor Project, is devoted to creating a safe place for the LGBTQ community and to speak for the ones without a voice.
