Up next for our Alumni Stories collaboration is '18 graduate, Derek Hill! 💚🐾

Derek came to Plymouth State eager to pursue a degree in business as he was planning to round out his skills for his position in his family business, Syn-Mar, post-graduation. While attending, Derek was drawn towards the entrepreneurship path and the professional sales program, and graduated in 2018 with a degree in business management and a certificate in professional sales!

Since then, Derek has climbed his way up as Vice President of the company and has found new ways to generate business for Syn-Mar. We can learn so much through Derek's experiences and words of wisdom, and we are proud to call him a Plymouth State alumnus! 💚

Introducing PSU graduate of 1999, Amber Buttermore, for our very first alumni story!! 🎓💚

The PSU School of Business has so many alumni doing incredible things in the business field, and we wanted to share some stories from some of them who took valuable lessons from PSU and influenced their careers in business.

Amber graduated with a degree in elementary education and taught for 13 years, but after a break decided to start her own business. Through her experiences at PSU, working with women and children, and involvement in volunteering efforts, her story is one that can inspire as all!
