🐴 The W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Library and Special Collections & Archives Reading Room have officially reopened! 🎈🎉

Alongside the reopening, Special Collections & Archives presents a newly installed exhibition highlighting the Fairplex Records. Entitled Rides, Ribbons, and Regional Roots: More Than a Century of the Los Angeles County Fair, the exhibition traces the transformation of the Los Angeles County Fair from its humble beginnings into a major entertainment destination. 🎡

🐴 Library & Reading Room Hours: Monday–Friday 10 AM–12 PM and 2–4 PM Additional hours available by appointment.

🎡 Exhibition Hours: Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–4:45 PM Open to the public!

Join Special Collections and Archives staff members Andrew Kopp and David Castro for a special Archives Month presentation:

🔎📚 Rides, Ribbons, and Regional Roots: More Than a Century of the Los Angeles County Fair

Following the presentation, Andrew Kopp will lead an exclusive guided tour of the exhibition located in the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Library on the first floor of the University Library (Room 1734), right next to Starbucks! ☕🎠

Come discover archival treasures, surprising stories, and the people and traditions that helped shape this iconic Southern California fair. 🎡✨
