Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated - Lambda Rho Zeta Chapter Serving the Greater Pontiac Michigan community since 1983 while "Building on the Principles of Zeta While Blazing New Paths"! Aldridge, Edna Metoyer, Dorothy F.

The Lambda Rho Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., was organized and chartered through the tireless efforts of five Zetas residing in Pontiac, Michigan: Sorors Willie B. King, Yvonne M. Robinson, and Brenda M. Street. On January 22, 1983, Lambda Rho Zeta Chapter of Pontiac officially joined the other graduate chapters of Michigan located in Detroit, Flint, Highland Park, Inkster, Kalama

zoo, and Saginaw.

Today, the five Charter Members have been joined by over forty (40) more ladies under Zeta’s umbrella. In 1986, the chapter chartered an auxiliary youth group, the Archonettes, ages 14-18; and also chartered the adult auxiliary group, the Amicae, (Friends of Zeta).

In 1987, Lambda Rho Zeta established the Pontiac Archonian Club and initiated its first group of undergraduate sorors into the Nu Nu chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.

The Lambda Rho Zeta Chapter continues, with their support, to hold high the lamp of the organizations to illuminate Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love and Finer Womanhood.

Lambda Rho Zeta extends heartfelt congratulations to our friends, the Zeta Amicae of Pontiac, on the resounding success of the 13th Annual Prayer Breakfast – Proverbs, Prayer and Pancakes. The atmosphere you cultivated—rooted in wisdom, uplifted by prayer, and warmed by community—beautifully reflected the purpose and spirit of the Amicae auxiliary.

This signature event continues to stand as a cherished moment of reflection and renewal. Your leadership, hospitality, and devotion to service created a morning that nourished both body and soul. Lambda Rho Zeta is proud of your continued excellence and grateful for the joy, unity, and inspiration you bring to our collective work in the Pontiac community.

We’re officially ONE DAY away🎉💙 Before you head out tomorrow, here’s everything you need to know to make sure you’re ready for the event!

EVENT TIMELINE
7:30 AM — Event opens! Arrive early to check in, get settled, and get comfortable.
8:00 AM — Opening program begins.
8:30 AM — Ribbon cutting + the walk officially begins!
9:30 AM — Celebration begins! Once you cross that finish line, stick around and enjoy the festivities!

📍 Pro tip: Give yourself plenty of time to arrive, check in, and get situated so you can enjoy the morning without feeling rushed!
