Big news for Floridaโs veteran entrepreneurs at GCSC!
The Florida Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) at Gulf Coast State College recently hosted Bill Briggs, Deputy Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), to highlight the massive impact of SBA resources on our military community.
In the last year alone, the Florida VBOC has supported military-connected entrepreneurs through:
45 Boots to Business classes serving 819 attendees across 15 military installations.
3,447 no-cost, one-on-one counseling sessions to help heroes launch and scale their dreams.

Randy Shepard (RSAE Labs, Inc.): A retired USAF Lieutenant Colonel whose global asset-tracking tech company received critical VBOC navigation and EIDL guidance.
Haley & Chris Mayer (Cedar Grove Beauty Salon, LLC): A USCG family who utilized a Boots to Business class at Tyndall AFB and VBOC licensing guidance to transform a vacant property into a thriving local salon.
