Did you know that Eastern New Mexico University is a Tree Friendly Campus? ENMU proudly participates in the Tree Campus Higher Education program!

The Arbor Day Foundation’s Tree Campus Higher Education program recognizes excellence in campus tree management and student and community involvement. This is an exciting way to raise environmental awareness and engage the community.
Trees make our campus and our town a special place to live. They shade our classrooms, homes, businesses, and streets. They clean our air and water, increase our property values, reduce energy costs, and make our campus greener and healthier.

Welcome our newest tree to the ENMU Campus. Happy Arbor Day!

Hey everyone!! We will be hosting a co****le tournament this Friday at ENMU!! Sign ups are still going on until tomorrow!! Please send an email to [email protected] to pick up a packet. We will also have some live animals at our table and well as raffle tickets (prizes: Yeti cooler, charcoal grill, non alcoholic wine and dine basket) Look forward to seeing you there!!

With the first day of spring yesterday it’s definitely time to begin gathering your spring and summer barbecuing essentials! What better way than to enter our raffle and get started! Tickets are $5 a piece or 5 for $20. The wine and dine basket is not pictured but it will have plenty of goodies for the perfect spring treat!

Our own Dr. Ivana Mali along with some of the students from our club and ENMU have been doing research on this species of turtle on the Black River and Pecos River since 2016! So cool to see them highlighted as this previous weeks species of the week!

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Wildlife Biologist, Grant Beauprez, for coming and speaking to the club Wednesday night. He gave us some great insight into his life as a biologist, wildlife that he has worked with over the years, and how he got to where he is today!

Our amazing club members had a great time this past weekend helping out the Desert Willow Wildlife Rehabilitation Center! We can’t thank this organization enough for letting us come out and help support what they do!
