OHSU School of Nursing

The OHSU School of Nursing offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral opportunities across six locations and our online programs.

Students get first-hand experience with clinical specialties and complex treatment of diseases and health-related problems. The Nurse-Midwifery program welcomes faculty member, Dr. Aubrey Lawlor. She joins us from Seattle University where she taught nurse and midwifery students since 2017. She brings a focus on global health and supports international midwifery development. Welcome, Aubrey!

Congratulations to Rishelle Zhou, D.N.A.P., L.L.B., CRNA, Assistant Professor in the Nurse Anesthesia program, and CRNA at the Portland VA Hospital. Rishelle was selected as a 2026 Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. The induction will take place Oct. 10 at the annual Academy meeting in Washington, DC.

OHSU nursing students and faculty in Ashland supported the Southern Oregon University Summer Camps throughout July. They worked with three youth programs: Black Youth Summer Institute, Academia Latina and Konaway Nika Tillicum. They offered a health care and nursing station in the simulation lab where camp participants learned about infection prevention, how to take vital signs, infant safety, and applied concepts learned in case scenarios.
