The Deaf Peacock watched Toy Story 5 last night.

For years, my Deaf sister and I played dollhouse for hours. We had our plastic horse horses, our favorite toy characters deep into endless storylines that we acted out together. Looking back, those simple afternoons shaped so much of my childhood.

Watching Toy Story 5 brought all of those memories rushing back. It reminded me that imagination, friendship, and growing up never really leave us.

This is one of those movies I’ll gladly watch again and again.

Pixar, I’m impressed. I went into the theater with low expectations, expecting an exhausted franchise. I wasn’t expecting to be a blubbering ball of tears by the end. 😭
