University of New England School of Pharmacy & Pre-Pharmacy

University of New England School of Pharmacy & Pre-Pharmacy Founded in 2009, an integrated undergraduate pre-pharmacy and doctor of pharmacy program preparing the next generation of exceptional pharmacists.

The College offers the Doctor of Pharmacy as the entry-level professional degree that prepares students for careers as pharmacists and/or pharmaceutical scientists. Clinical training and research partnerships have been established with multiple health care facilities, community hospitals, and pharmacies. What an incredible week at connecting with our UNE alumni, Husson alumni, preceptors, students, and friends of the program.

There’s something special about seeing Maine pharmacy unite under the bright lights of Vegas. From catching up with graduates making their mark across the country to welcoming students experiencing their first Midyear, these connections remind us why we do what we do. We love partnering with our local community pharmacists! 🙌

A huge thank you to the Hannaford crew for teaching in Abilities Lab I today and walking our students through the prescription filling process. Our students got to see first hand what goes into filling every prescription, including drug utilization reviews and understanding the critical thinking behind each decision.

And a big thank you to the Hannaford IT team who keep everything running seamlessly behind the scenes! 💻🙌
