The FDA approved a pancreatic cancer drug made possible by Kevan Shokat ’86's research.

The drug, daraxonrasib, has allowed some patients in clinical trials to live twice as long as those who underwent chemotherapy. “I’m just so thrilled,” Dr. Shokat said upon learning that daraxonrasib had been approved.
