SUNY Potsdam Business Administration Team Tops Competition

Students from Dr. Portugal’s class recently attended the 2026 intercollegiate International Business Ethics and Sustainability Case Competition. This prestigious competition was held in Los Angeles on April 15th – 17th, which had more than 40 universities and colleges from 7 countries competing. Our students prepared a business plan dealing with ethical and/or sustainability issues. They prepared a 90 second elevator pitch, a 10 minute presentation, and a 25 minute presentation for the judges.

We are proud to announce that our in-person team came in 2nd place for their 25 minute presentation. Our 90 second orator, Jaiden Kertenis, was judged to be the best in the competition and won 1st place! We’re proud of our team and Dr. Portugal.
