Dating Violence means violence committed by a person who is or has been in a social relationship of a romantic or intimate nature with the other party. Dating violence can be physical, verbal, emotional, and/or sexual.

It's important to understand the signs of violence and know the resources available to you. Love shouldn't hurt.

Stalking means engaging in a course of conduct directed at a specific person that would cause a reasonable person to fear for their safety or suffer substantial emotional distress.

Calling all UMES students!!! The B.R.A.V.E. Project is looking for students to participate in our Gender-Based Violence Prevention videos. The scripts are short and the content is relevant to the needs of our campus community. We are in need of participants for speaking and non-speaking parts. The videos will be shot Thursday, October 27 from 1:00-7:00pm. Community service hours will be given to those involved. If you are interested, DM me for more info.
