The Joe R. Engle Organ Concert: Dwelling in the Psalms 🎶

Join Princeton Theological Seminary on September 18 in the Princeton Seminary Chapel for an evening of music inspired by the book of Psalms.

The concert will feature guest performers Brandon Boyd, Ahreum Han Congdon, Evelyn Simpson-Curenton, and Eric Wall, as well as composer Eurydice Osterman and the Princeton Seminary Chapel Choir, directed by Martin Tel.

The program will explore the depth and breadth of the Psalter through organ works, improvisation, choral music, and congregational singing, including a commissioned choral anthem based on Psalm 46.

From Princeton Seminary to the United Nations 🌎

For MDiv student Margaret Ruthven, a spring internship with the Presbyterian Ministry at the United Nations brought together her passions for ministry and social justice.

Margaret helped manage social media and graphic design for the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)’s advocacy office, while also attending meetings at U.N. Headquarters and reporting on global issues and developments.

The experience deepened her understanding of the church’s role in global advocacy and helped shape her vocational discernment.

“I came to Princeton Theological Seminary because of this internship,” Margaret says. “I knew [the Seminary] could help me explore those passions and pursue this work.”
