Outdoor Action Program, Princeton University Outdoor Action is Princeton University's outdoor education and leadership development program.

For over 40 years OA has served Princeton through the annual Frosh Trip outdoor orientation program for incoming freshmen, through the Leader Training program which trains current students to be leaders and role models to incoming students on the Frosh Trip, and alumni through on-campus events and outdoor-based adventure travel trips.

🏕️ Would you LOVE to lead an Outdoor Action trip? Craving s’mores and GORP (good ol’ raisins and peanuts)? Or just simply want to join our AWESOME community at Princeton and develop your leadership skills along the way?

Attend OA’s Fall Break Leader Training Workshops ‼️ By the end of Fall Break, you will be all set to go on a Leader Training Trip (LTT) and become an OA leader for next year. Yesterday was OA Clean Up Day!

We played music, ate pizza, sang happy birthday to one of our leaders, and helped get all of our equipment sorted and returned to the Equipment Room to be rented out during the academic year.

Support Teams are mobile response units that deliver supplies and help OA groups that are on the trail. Lodging, meals & transportation provided.

Command Center personnel stay on campus, answer phones in the call center and solve problems for OA groups.
