A big thank you to Jeannie Tarkenton, Founder & CEO, Funding U and Princeton alumna (Class of 92') for visiting our Special Topics in Entrepreneurship: Ventures of Impact course taught by Laura Simão!

In this special class, Jeannie shared her journey as an entrepreneur and reflected on how her Princeton education and experiences helped shape her path. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about when she felt ready to launch her own business and gain insight into her approach to managing risk, maintaining company culture, and staying true to a mission-driven purpose while building a financially sustainable organization.

Princeton has long cultivated leaders committed to serving the world. Jeannie's approach to entrepreneurship reflects that tradition, demonstrating how socially conscious business leadership can create both meaningful impact and lasting success in the 21st century.

A special thank you to Mark Milley, former United States Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Princeton alumnus (class of 1980) for visiting Policy Entrepreneurship for the 21st Century with Prof. Jacob Shapiro last week. We were grateful for the opportunity to learn from his experiences in leadership, strategic decision-making, and service as well as engage in thoughtful discussion.

We had an ✨amazing✨ day at the Keller Center Open House and ribbon cutting celebration earlier this month! 🎉

A special thank you to everyone who joined us at 110 Prospect. We were thrilled to welcome students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends into our new home!

The day was filled with everything from building tours and Princeton Tiger sightings 🐯 to ice cream 🍦, games 🎲, swag 🕶️, and great conversations. It was inspiring to see so many people come together to learn about our programs, and celebrate innovation, community, and the future of the Keller Center.

We're excited for what's to come and can't wait to share it with you! 🤗

Meet Chaitanya Harsh*ta Nedunuri Kahn, a designer and educator joining the Keller Center as a Lecturer in Design. Her work spans emerging technology and the arts, with experience at Google, Yale’s Center for Collaborative Arts and Media, and Spill 180 (the Brooklyn curatorial research platform she founded). For Chaitanya, learning design is a practice of attention, a way of becoming more awake to the world, loosening habitual ways of seeing, and questioning the systems we inherit. She hopes students carry that sensibility beyond the studio, remaining open to serendipity as they move through their surroundings and learning to shape our futures with poetic care.

Interested in a minor in Design? There is still time to sign up for Design Fundamentals (EGR 107)!

Learn about foundational design approaches and methodologies! The course focuses on three core areas of design practice, Ideation, Representation, and Prototyping, with an emphasis on applying design as a way of thinking, communicating, and experimenting in complex, real-world contexts. Students will learn how to frame and reframe problems, generate and communicate ideas, and test concepts through multiple forms of prototyping.
