Princeton Leadership for Change - PLFC

Princeton Leadership for Change - PLFC Building better leaders in the nation's service and in the service of all nations. Goals
1.

Vision
Leadership for Change envisions a Princeton culture in which leaders are not defined by position or title, but rather by students’ motivation to develop themselves and others as leaders, and by their ability to envision and effect change in their organization, community, and field. We envision a campus community that fosters a strong, dynamic, and active network of leaders who openly share

their leadership practices, that promotes diverse, peer-to-peer leadership development opportunities and that encourages students to recognize the importance of leadership development, with the goal of becoming better leaders in the nation’s service and the service of all nations. Mission
The mission of Leadership for Change is to support the development of leaders who are well equipped to envision and effect change. To foster relationships among individuals with different leadership styles and contexts in order to enable the sharing of effective leadership practices.

2. To highlight effective leadership practices and development opportunities in diverse contexts in order that leadership in many forms might be recognized and celebrated.

3. To publicize existing leadership development resources from students, campus organizations, faculty, administration, and alumni in order that all students may access these resources easily.

4. To create relevant, practice-based leadership development programming in order to fill gaps in the portfolio of leadership training opportunities available at Princeton.

5. To encourage pursuit within the University community of a deeper understanding of what it means to be a leader.
