PMUG began in the early 1980s as an Apple II computer user group within Princeton University. With the introduction of the Macintosh in 1984, the focus changed. PMUG became a community group that still meets on the University campus. Our membership averages about 250, with an average of 80 to 90 people attending monthly general meetings. The Princeton Macintosh User Group is a part of an extraordi

nary community that owes a great deal to the presence of Princeton University in its midst. The Princeton area attracts a higher percentage of research and business than is usual for its size. Our diverse membership includes a broad range of age, occupation, interest, and skill level.

Hopefully our next meeting will be Sept 15 with Dave Hamilton (confirmed) of the Mac Geek Gab Podcast.

Available for: macOS High Sierra 10.13 and macOS High Sierra 10.13.1
Not impacted: macOS Sierra 10.12.6 and earlier
Impact: An attacker may be able to bypass administrator authentication without supplying the administrator’s password
Description: A logic error existed in the validation of credentials. This was addressed with improved credential validation.

Princeton University Photography Professor Jeff Whetstone will be discussing his new show recently installed in a NY gallery. Prior to teaching at Princeton, Whetstone was a professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for fourteen years.
