Brown University’s Amnesty International chapter: a student group that undertakes research and action focused on preventing and ending grave abuses of the rights to physical and mental integrity, freedom of conscience and expression, and freedom from discrimination, within the context of its work to promote all human rights. Our usual activities and plans of action include, but are not limited to:

various panels, speakers, forums with distinguished professors and activists, movie and documentary showings, petition drives, pursuing legislative action, and participating in the Amnesty Northeastern Conference. Ultimately, we teach ourselves and others about human rights violations around the world.
