On Tuesday, September 29, 2026 Alex Snow addressed Dr. Mari Dias's Advanced Counseling Techniques class in the MS Counseling Program, sharing insights on effective counseling strategies and engaging students in interactive discussions as well as an introduction to his non-profit organization, Instinctive Choices, a program developed to assist at risk adolescents .
In addition, Dr. Dias heads out to Charlotte, NC to present her aftercare ecosystem model at the National Funeral Directors Association's annual conference later this month.

This spring the JWU Humanities Department hosted a special performance of "New Voices: Music by Women, Stories Behind the Sound”. Directed by Humanities adjunct professor Piero Guimaraes and accompanied by special guests Ashley Lauren Frith and Roseminna Watson, this performance celebrated female composers and their music in the beautiful Xavier Chapel on the JWU campus.
