Why Gamma: I chose Gamma because I connected closely with our pillars and philanthropies. After going to my first recruitment event and talking to the active house members, I connected with them quickly, which made everything feel so fun and easy. I knew right away that Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority Inc. was the place for me.

Major & Year: Political Science, 4th year

Hometown: Toppinish, WA

Big: Rose “RAYna De Siani” #1 Pineda Puente

Why Gamma: I chose Gamma because of the pillars that the sisterhood represents and the connection that I found. Scholarship is very important to me as I am fully committed to my academics and I always want to do my best when it comes to my academics. The connection I found was genuine and I love all my sisters. I am empowered every single day and I have a good support system encouraging me. I have 4 sisters of my own and they already are my support system, but when I found my sisters here I was happy because I wanted to find that connection with others. I found my home in Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority Inc.

Big: Jael “IrisPsyche” #3 Ibarra-Domondon

Why Gamma: I chose Gamma because I wanted a group of people where I felt safe and valued. I also had personal experiences that aligned with our philanthropy. Going into my 3rd year, I hoped to make longterm connections and a place that feels like a home away from home.

Why Gamma: I chose Gamma because I felt a sense of connection when I first met the sisters. After learning more about their pillars and values, that connection only grew stronger. I felt like Gamma was a place where I could be myself, build meaningful relationships, and surround myself with people who genuinely support one another. Being able to have a strong community around me while also growing and improving as a person is what made Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc. feel like the right fit for me.

Meet the Ace of the Alpha Tau Line 💙

Ayanna “AleaLani” #1 Miranda

Major & Year: Agricultural Biotechnology, 4th year

Hometown: Bellingham, WA

Big: Nayeli “RAYna De Simor” #1 Aguilar

Why Gamma: When I first met everyone, they all were so genuine and welcoming. I am an only child so being able to find my community at WSU was something that I wanted. I transferred in as a junior so I felt it was even harder to find friends at a large university compared to community college. Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority Inc. also highly values academics and community service which aligned with my morals and priorities while attending university.
