A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the ABSS Freshers’ Reception 2026!

It was wonderful to welcome our new students and scholars to the WSU Bangladeshi community and to see so many familiar faces come together to make them feel at home in Pullman.

A special thank you to all our community members who extended their support to the freshers during their initial days in Pullman, whether by helping with housing, transportation, settling in, sharing information, or simply being there when someone needed a hand. Your kindness and willingness to help truly reflect the strength and spirit of our community.

To our freshers, welcome to the ABSS family! We hope this is the beginning of many wonderful friendships, memories, and experiences during your time at WSU.

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make the reception possible. Your time, effort, and enthusiasm made the event truly successful. Our heartfelt gratitude to you all!

Here’s to another year of supporting one another, staying connected, and strengthening our community together. 🇧🇩💚

Welcome to Pullman, Freshers! Go Cougs!

Zamil Ahamed Limon and Nahida Sultana Bristy, two talented graduate students at the University of South Florida (USF), were victims of a senseless crime that has taken them from us far too soon.

Please try to donate as much as you can to support the fundraiser organized by Zamil’s advisor and the USF BSA.

Their families need this support from us, please!
