✨ Clay, community, and creative growth! ✨

Taking a look back at some of the incredible student art exhibitions this semester, let’s spotlight this amazing 5-person Ceramics Show, beautifully curated by Professor and Studio Art Department Chair, Sin-Ying Ho.

Bringing together intergenerational voices from first-year students to seniors and senior auditors, this exhibition showcases differing levels of mastery in the medium. While every artist brought a unique perspective, one thing is absolutely clear: everyone was pushed far beyond their comfort zones to create something spectacular! 🏺🌟

From Queens College to Carnegie Hall! 🏛️✨

We are beyond thrilled to share that two of our very own jazz vocalists from the QC School of Arts and Aaron Copland School of Music, Ricki Rizzo and Mingyu Hu, will be taking the stage at Carnegie Hall on April 1st! 🎤🎷

To kick off Jazz Appreciation Month, they’ll be joining fellow vocalists from NYU, Berklee, and NCCU for Dr. Lenora Helm’s jazz choral show. 🎶 This incredible performance features the New England Symphonic Ensemble in collaboration with the Tribe Jazz Orchestra, presented by MidAmerica Productions.

We are so proud to see our students shining on such a legendary stage! 👏

POV: You’re a QC student and the campus just turned into a giant snow globe. ☃️✨

All classes are remote for today, Feb 23, and campus buildings are closed.
We are definitely freezing out here, so we highly recommend staying inside with a hot drink while our amazing Buildings and Grounds crew clears the way. 💻 ☕🔥

Stay warm, QC! 🧣✨
