Last year’s History Day event was a big success — join us again for History Day 2026 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 12! This year’s theme is "The Declaration of Independence: A 21st Century Perspective." The event is free and takes place in Northwest Bay Conference Center in Adirondack Hall on SUNY Adirondack’s Queensbury campus. Seating is limited, and preregistration is required at https://form.jotform.com/252515046011140. History Day is organized by SUNY Adirondack, Warren County Historical Society and the 250th Commission. It features presentations by regional experts, including John Berry, historian at Warren County Historical Society; Mark Dragoni, Ph.D., associate professor of European history at SUNY Adirondack; Wendy Johnston, professor of political science at SUNY Adirondack; and Jessica Best, Ph.D., professor of English at SUNY Adirondack.

Our two-day Bike Service & Repair class at SUNY Adirondack’s Queensbury campus teaches basic bicycle repair skills, focusing on bike and suspension setup, touch point adjustment, tubed tire systems and basic trailside/roadside repairs! Last weekend, our Spring 2026 Pickleball: Beginner/Intermediate course wrapped up at Hudson River Park in Queensbury. In this class, students learned about proper scoring, how to serve, how to drop the ball and perform drills.
