There will be a Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course on Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at SUNY Adirondack! Participants who successfully complete this course earn a two-year SOLO certification, which is nationally recognized. This 16-hour program, held over the course of two days, meets ACA guidelines, and the price is $275 per participant (CPR, AED for Adult/Child/Infant is an additional $40). The college farm's annual plant sale takes place Wednesday, May 6 through Friday, May 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. outside the Adirondack Hall greenhouse on SUNY Adirondack's Queensbury campus! SUNY Adirondack Continuing Education is seeking a skilled and student-focused Noncredit HVAC Instructor to deliver high-quality workforce training in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC). This part-time position supports short-term, career-focused programs designed to prepare students for entry-level employment and industry certification in the HVAC field. Courses are typically offered evenings and/or weekends to accommodate working adults. Schedule will vary based on enrollment and program needs.
