🇮🇪After gettinga celebrity chauffeur to Emory & Henry, we boarded planes and arrived in Dublin Ireland (a day later than planned). We attended GYPC where we listened to international stories of sanctuary. What we learned for those gathered....we are more similar than we are different. 🇮🇪

My "take away" from Annual Conference:
Holston Conference and New River District is committed to Campus Ministry and the Wesley Foundation at Radford University ❤️
Some highlights....
❤️ We took 4 college students to AC
❤️ Our very own Jade gave her testimony during the BHECM report.
❤️ I lost count of the number of times Bishop Wallace-Padget mentioned the importance of campus ministry, Wesley Foundtions and Camping Ministry🎊 She even said, "Wesley Foundations and Camping Ministries are the places most likely to make disciples"
❤️ Each district will now have 3 youth members with voice AND vote!
❤️ BHECM will now include a student member from each Wesley Foundation
❤️ BHECM budget for campus ministry increased and includes support for student representatives to Resurrection and Annual Conference!
❤️ There were at least 25 college age students at the young adult meal gathering. The Bishop made an appearance and spoke to each one!

The best of all was surprising Alan Ashworth with the Francis Asbury Award!!! If everyone were like Alan Ashworth the world would be a better place!

There we many board members sightings. Thanks for doting on the students! Wish I got more pictures of that. Even had board members keeping tabs from home and sending me pics! Thank you Mckenzie Renee!

Praise God for Holston! For the districts, for the churches, and our board! We are transforming the world, one young voice at a time!
